Artisan goods profitability

The most profitable artisan goods depend on your shed

Review every formula →

A static artisan goods chart can rank sale prices, but it cannot see your chest, quality, machine counts, or deadline. ValleyMath gives every inventory batch one shared limit, so the same fruit cannot quietly appear in both a Keg recommendation and a Preserves Jar recommendation.

01

Start with the inventory you can actually load

Enter separate rows for different qualities or harvest dates. Use Keep for bundle items, gifts, seeds, recipes, or any stock you do not want the planner to touch. Reserved units stay outside both the queue and its raw-sale baseline.

02

Capacity decides the winning route

Each batch consumes one real machine for a set number of morning checks. Limited Kegs, Jars, and Dehydrators are considered together, so the recommendation is more useful than a list sorted only by final sale price.

03

Read extra profit before total value

The large result is the gold gained by processing instead of selling the same non-reserved inputs raw. Final sale value, raw leftovers, and reserved value remain visible separately so a large inventory cannot make a weak processing decision look impressive.

Model scope: unmodded Stardew Valley 1.6.x · crop, brew, mushroom, honey, Raisin, and Caviar routes · one morning check per day · machines start empty on Day 0 · Casks are not included.

How the plan is made

One calculator for inventory, capacity, opportunity cost, and time.

01

Count real capacity

Every batch occupies a real machine until the morning collection day shown in the plan.

02

Protect opportunity cost

Quality and the selected profession path change what the exact input stack would sell for raw. Artisan includes the Tiller crop bonus where it applies.

03

Keep your setup nearby

Your plan auto-saves in this browser. Bookmark the page and come back without a login or cloud account. Local save import is optional.

Common questions

Before you load the shed

See privacy details →
What are the most profitable artisan goods in Stardew Valley?

There is no single winner for every farm. ValleyMath compares the extra value of each supported route against the same inputs sold raw while respecting your machine counts, quality, profession, and deadline.

What does the artisan production planner optimize?

It assigns a shared inventory across Kegs, Preserves Jars, and Dehydrators so each item is used once, then produces a morning-by-morning load and collection list.

Why is extra profit different from total artisan revenue?

Extra profit subtracts the raw sale value of the same processable inputs. This shows whether processing created value instead of merely making a large chest look valuable.

Can I reserve items for bundles, gifts, or cooking?

Yes. Enter a Keep quantity on any inventory row. Those units stay outside the queue and their value is reported separately from the processing decision.

How do future harvests enter the queue?

Set the Ready day for a row. The scheduler cannot load that stack before the selected day, so an upcoming harvest will not be counted as if it were already in the shed.
