Crop growth & harvest calendar
Will this seed finish before the season ends?
Pick the planting day and growth bonuses. Planting day is Day 0; the crop advances after a watered night.
Spring 28 is the last legal outdoor day for this crop.
Harvest dates
Spring 21 · Spring 25Loading the crop setup saved on this device… Assumes the seed is watered on planting day and every day except the missed days entered. Rice Shoots and Taro Tubers are excluded because nearby water changes their growth time.
Crop timing decisions
Know the harvest date before a seed uses the last good day
A seed packet gives a base growth time, but the useful answer changes with planting day, Speed-Gro, Agriculturist, missed watering, repeat harvests, and crops that can keep growing into another legal season.
Planting day is not growth day one
A crop planted and watered on Spring 1 advances after that night. A four-day Parsnip is therefore ready on Spring 5, not Spring 4. The calendar keeps the planting marker separate from the first harvest.
Speed-Gro uses the game’s stage rounding
The game removes days from individual growth stages after rounding the selected percentage up. ValleyMath follows that stage sequence, combines Agriculturist with fertilizer, and leaves repeat-harvest intervals unchanged.
Some crops can cross one season boundary
Corn can continue from Summer into Fall, while a Pumpkin planted too late in Fall cannot finish in Winter. The outdoor deadline follows each crop’s consecutive legal seasons instead of stopping every plan on Day 28.
Field crops only · unmodded Stardew Valley 1.6.x · planting day is Day 0 · Speed-Gro affects first maturity, not regrowth · Greenhouse and Ginger Island remove the seasonal deadline · Rice Shoots and Taro Tubers are excluded because nearby water changes their timing.
How the plan is made
A harvest date starts with growth stages, not a rounded percentage shortcut.
Reduce the growth stages
Add the fertilizer rate and Agriculturist bonus, round the removable days up, then subtract them across the crop’s actual growth stages.
Add watering delays
Every missed watering day entered adds one day to maturity. When same-day replanting is selected, the same watering assumption is used for each new planting.
Stop at the real crop deadline
Outdoor schedules end after the crop’s last consecutive legal season. Protected plots show the next 28 growing days without treating season change as crop death.

Common questions
Before you load the shed
Does the planting day count as the first growth day?
No. Planting day is Day 0. If a crop needs four watered growth days and is planted on Spring 1, it is ready on Spring 5.
How does Speed-Gro change the harvest date?
Speed-Gro removes days from the crop’s first growth cycle using the game’s stage-by-stage rounding. It does not shorten the fixed interval between later harvests from a regrowing crop.
Can Corn keep growing from Summer into Fall?
Yes. Corn is legal in both Summer and Fall, so an outdoor Corn crop can mature and keep producing across that boundary. The same applies to other crops with consecutive legal seasons.
What does missed watering do in this calculator?
Each entered missed day delays maturity by one day. If you turn on same-day replanting, the calculator applies the same missed-watering assumption to each new planting cycle.
Why are Rice Shoots and Taro Tubers not listed?
Their growth time changes when they are planted near water. They are excluded until the tool can ask about irrigation directly instead of giving one misleading date.
What changes in Greenhouse or Ginger Island mode?
The crop no longer withers at a seasonal boundary. The calendar shows harvests in the next 28 growing days, while the first-harvest date remains valid even when it falls after that display window.
